Academic staff are involved in research across a broad spectrum of legal topics concerning business and commercial law, namely:

• the law of business organisations, including company law;

• arbitration and mediation law;

• air law;

• bankruptcy and reorganisation;

• public aspects of commercial law;

• competition law;

• consumer protection;

• industrial property;

• alternative dispute resolution in commercial disputes;

• public aid;

• public procurement.

 

Consequently, the publications of the staff concern various aspects of business law. The major collective development in this field during 2005 was "Prawo gospodarcze publiczne" (BECK 2005), the textbook covering virtually every aspect of business law as seen from the perspective of public law. A similar textbook to be released by BECK in 2006/2007 Prawo gospodarcze.

 

Kompendium is awaiting publication, under the editorship of Prof. Jan Olszewski.
